Harbor Dropping Rotterdam

A dropping in one of the largest ports in the world, the harbor of Rotterdam, a unique opportunity! This is your chance, sign up for this fun, adrenaline-filled event. The interactive harbor dropping event starts from the "Kop van Zuid" near the Erasmus bridge. Using fast rib boats or water taxi's to reach various dropzones, your team can start earning points by completing challenges. Dropzones include the RDM campus (Innovation dock), Katendrecht and the Kop van Zuid (all located on google maps). A team effort, try to complete as many challenges as possible, which team will eventually come out on top?

The Game

Using the map on the iPad your team races through the harbor of Rotterdam to explore the various dropzones. At each dropzone, there are points to be earned by completing various challenges. You will have to be fast, there is a time constraint! The more challenges your team completes the more points that can be earned. During the event, you can keep track of the other teams, see their scores and their location. What strategy will you use? However, time is crucial. The rib boat taxi runs on a schedule, miss the pickup time and it is game over! The boat will pick up your team at the end of the game which means your team won't have the chance to explore the other dropzones.

The Challenges

We have several challenges in store for you. From local knowledge questions and quizzes to daring and funny challenges, something for everyone. Points are awarded by the instructors upon completion of each challenge so that you can keep track of your score and of course, how the other teams are doing. A fun and action-packed event and a great way to explore the city of Rotterdam.
