Curling near Rotterdam

Would you like to try your hand at curling, it's a lot of fun! Our fun curling event is now available in Dordrecht. Take on the competition, whether it be with friends, family or colleagues, its a great winter event for all.

A warm welcome

A warm welcome in a winter setting. What about a warming-up with hot chocolate and whipped cream, tea or coffee, and a traditional apfelstrudel with vanilla sauce (optional extra). Perhaps Gluhwine and snacks are more to your liking? After this warm welcome, it is time for the cool-down session, on the ice rink!

Our instructor will provide all participants with special anti-slip ice shoes, take your group to the ice rink and start the event briefing.

The game

During this curling event, everyone can show off their curling talents. Each team is assigned a color curling set (stones) with which you will try to curl the stones as close as possible to the puck or house (center of the circle) as possible. Pushing off from the blocks and sliding across the ice you can guide your curling stone towards its target, watch the weight though! The sweepers, using their brooms and sweeping techniques, can speed up the curling stone if need be. In this thrilling team on team competition, it comes down to steady hands, a fast sweeping broom, and tactical placement of your curling stones. The essential ingredients, FUN and teamwork! Is your team ready for the next Winter Olympics?

The beautiful location in Dordrecht is one of the few locations in the Netherlands that is open all year round. So you can also play curling in the summer....very cool.

30-minute curling game extension or add two fun games is now standard..

Is the competition heating up, running out of time? We added another 30 minutes to your curling competition or you can add two other hilarious games; Human Ice Bowling , Ski-pole sledding or Icebike racing.

Human Ice Bowling

Bowling is an age-old sport. The object is to knock over as many pins as you can using a bowling ball. Instead of a bowling ball, your team will launch a team member on a sled to knock over the pins (helmet included). With a good push from your team, they will try to knock over as many pins as they can. Which team will go for the strike?!

Ski-pole sledding or Icebike

Combine a sled on ice with two special ski poles, a crazy helmet, a ski-pole sledding course and two fanatic competitors and you have the ingredients for a great ski-pole sledding race! Or would you rather choose the IceBike Race? Let the competition begin!
