A balloon ride is already considered a classic and much-enjoyed event. Now add the possibility that you can take off at one of our fantastic venue sites, this balloon flight really becomes a special happening.
Picture an early morning take-off from Rotterdam The Hague Airport, where you can take in the Rotterdam skyline, the many waterways, and port areas with all its industrial dynamism and all of this in serene silence.
Combining your meeting, presentation, or seminar with a relaxing lunch, dinner, or network drinks makes your business meeting a truly special event.
The Balloon Ride
Around sunrise or sunset, the balloons are prepared for a unique flight. Why at these times you might ask? The air currents and thermals are at their calmest then, perfect for a balloon trip. The direction of the flight depends on the direction of the wind. The balloon cannot be steered but flies with the wind's direction. On cooler days, the flames of the burner keeps everyone warm. You dress according to the conditions of the day. Where the balloon lands also depends on the wind direction and wind speed. Traditionally, the flight is celebrated with Champagne after landing and the balloon pilot will be sure to tell you why this tradition is still adhered to. After the balloon flight, the group is brought back to the starting point. The flight usually lasts one hour.

- Welcome at the location one hour prior to take-off time
- Coffee, tea or a drink beforehand
- The flight briefing
- Approach the balloons and prepare for the flight
- Boarding the basket(s)
- 1 hour balloon ride
- Traditional champagne celebration after landing
- Return to start location
Meetings and networking drinks before or after can be planned into the program.
