The Reception & Start of Ice Sculpting

We welcome you to a real Aircraft Hangar or one of the other locations/terraces in Rotterdam, where the ice blocks are decoratively arranged on beautifully set tables. Then, enjoy creating beautiful ice sculptures with hammers, scrapers, and chisels, accompanied by a cold or warm drink.

Our instructors are already waiting for you and will help with the first "tips and tricks." After a quick sketch and deciding on a fun theme together, it’s time to get to work. In pairs or groups of three, you’ll work on one block of ice, fostering creative solutions through a bit of team-building. Not too rough and not too soft, we’ll turn the ice into something special. We start with the big shapes and gradually move to the detailed work. Materials such as chisels, hammers, planes, etc., and gloves are, of course, provided by us.

Fun extras include music and small additional decorations to create a cozy winter-themed company outing. Perhaps a drink and a bitterball during the workshop?

Presentation and Award Ceremony

Of course, a final presentation is part of the event. Who has created the most beautiful ice sculpture, but just as important, what story do you present with it? Pull out all the stops to make your story as captivating as possible.

The winner will receive a nice keepsake during the award ceremony.
