MOKUM ALERT - MOKUM ALERT.... Alarm level 1..
After years of ignoring warnings from experts, a real disaster is unfolding in Amsterdam. The temperature is rising and the climate is getting more tropical by the day. For the past 10 years we have been trying to fight off the "Japanese Knotweed" and we are not winning. This invasive bamboo species has spread throughout the city and the roots of this plant are causing havoc; there are regular power cuts, building foundations are sinking, sewer pipes are bursting and cellars in Amsterdam are filling up with water. The city has become one big mess!
On top of this disaster, last year a parasite managed to find its way here on a container ship from Asia. The car tires that the ship brought to reinforce the NDSM wharf turned out to contain a layer of water in which thousands of Malaria Mosquito larvae were found to be incubating. The combination of a warmer climate, the Japanese Knotweed and basements full of groundwater provide the ideal breeding ground for these parasites. Luckily, a professor from Amsterdam has already been working on a solution. For fear of reprisals and already sick from Malaria, the professor has hidden a secret formula that can destroy the "Japanese Knotweed" in a vault and sent an encrypted message with the code throughout Amsterdam. Can you and your team intercept and decipher the code, reach the ferry and disperse the formula to save Amsterdam from destruction?
